DINA KITSOU was born in Corinth in 1972 by parents from Epirus. She started studying French translation but quit her studies. Later she studied Tourism at an OTEK [Organisation for Tourism Education & Training] School and Economics and Administration at a state Vocational Training Institute [IEK]. She worked in hotels and as a Communications Officer for Cultural, Tourism and Public Relations matters for the Municipality of Loutraki, as well as at a political Press Office. Kitsou has worked for magazines, such as Arabesques Press, Na Ena Milo, Diavazo, Synedrio, and others, contributing pastiches, short stories, interviews, book reviews, articles, etc. In 1998 her first short story received the newcomer writer’s award from Kastaniotis Publications and Elle magazine. Since then, her short stories have won distinctions at various competitions. In 2004 she had her novels, Veronica and The Colonel published (Patakis Publications).
