It is a year since Dane separated with Yvonne, yet the separation bequeathed him with a torturous insomnia. One sleepless night, he becomes the inadvertent witness to the mysterious death of a young woman.
Those same, troublesome days, three young men meet under odd circumstances in a deserted army camp far in the hinterland. They begin a journey together to reach the city and then share a large sum of money amongst themselves. On the journey, and by way of private confessions, secrets will come to light, crimes will be justified and promises will be made.
Soon, these seemingly coincidental events will put cogs into motion in which the characters’ parallel paths will cross in the most unexpected way thus unfolding the hidden motives of each and every one.
Using biting wit, the unpredictable nature of fate and inner turbulence of actions and words as its primary ingredients, the characters - victims and victimizers - are gradually led to an explosive encounter and a shocking finale.
