THE SILENCE OF GUILT

A nightmarish dilemma threatens Dr. Anna Papadakis’ life. A dilemma which forces her to break Hippocrates’ sacred oath which she had given following so many labours and sacrifices. Her difficult childhood years, the terrible experience she had lived through when she was only five, when she had been abandoned to live with a aunt in a remote mountain village in Pafos, the lack of love and acceptance which had scarred her - would these factors weigh on her decision? Or would love and respect guide her? The decision was a hard one! Euthanasia or murder? In her mind there is no justification. But how and why does she find herself up against such difficult choices in her life? What are the consequences of either decision?
Years later, the dilemma returns and forces her to confront her oath again. The decision she has to make this time is simple: be a punisher or be humane?
A story based on true events that will shock and stir while at the same time give rise to many questions.
